Speaking in an interview with Amansan Krakye on Radio Central, Joey B said:

“The artists have some mindset, I will go alone. I didn’t reach anywhere with my music career and I brought Pappy Kojo out. I could have decided to have my shine alone. Even King Promise, La Me Gang and co are all my people, sometimes I take them to shows. I always want to share my spotlight but some Ghanaian artistes want to go alone”.

The ‘Tonga’ crooner also made sharp comparison with our Nigerian counterparts.

Joey noted that they (Nigerian artistes) are willing to help one another achieve great things and the reverse in the case of Ghanaian musicians is true.

He said:

“If I get the chance today, I’m pulling all my people with me. I will make sure the world will hear Ghanaian music. I won’t go alone to enjoy. That’s why the Nigerians are moving. Did you see how Davido sold out at 02 Arena, Nigerians are getting big because they don’t divide to conquer, they are all going and that’s how it’s supposed to be. We will continue to play Kumasi shows saa, its good solidify your home grounds but after that you have to take it abroad. When I gt the chance I will show everyone how it’s done. I’m pulling everyone with me”
